RISE Orange County consists of nonprofit faith-based organizations, for-profit organizations and government that work together to help vulnerable populations prepare for and recover from disasters.
In 2018, the Rise Orange County Long-Term Recovery Group (ROC LTRG) was formed in response to Hurricane Irma.
The objective of this long-term recovery group was to secure and unite recovery resources to ensure that even the most vulnerable survivors were able to recover from the disaster.
Despite our inability to undo the disaster that families and individuals have experienced, our desire is to aid in the rebuilding of their homes. We serve survivors regardless of their age, race, creed, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or religious preference.
